Q - How do I register a group of people travelling together?
A - A group is defined as more than three unrelated persons travelling on an identical itinerary. Family ‘groups’ should register using the on-line registration page.
If you wish to register a group of unrelated travellers on a common itinerary, email the department on RegistrationHelp@dfat.gov.au providing your email address. We will send out a spreadsheet to be completed with all group members' details. This must then be emailed back to RegistrationHelp@dfat.gov.au so we can register the group.
Any travel outside the group itinerary or travellers on a slightly varied itinerary should be individually registered online or forwarded as a separate group.
Q - After clicking Submit Registration I receive an error stating that the date format is wrong. I've checked it but I still get the error.
A - Check that each date meets the required format of dd/mm/yyyy (no spaces). Remember to check all dates including birth, passport issue, passport expiry, arrival and departure dates. For instance, if you wished to enter 7th of April 2007, you would enter 07/04/2007 with no spaces. Ensure that no other characters are used. Do NOT use full-stops (.) or letters (e.g. "AUG").

If you experience this difficulty, we ask that you check some specific Internet Explorer configuration options and report the following to RegistrationHelp@dfat.gov.au:
1) What version of web browser are you using?
2) Does the browser have "Enable for Active Scripting" switched on?
(If using Internet Explorer, Active Scripting needs to be enabled. To do this, select Tools-Internet Options-Security. Make sure that Internet zone is selected and click the Custom Level button. Scroll down to Scripting and select Enable for Active Scripting)
3) Are you connecting through a firewall?
